Israeli Archaeological Activity in the West Bank 1967-2007
The collection of archaeological sites in this publication are derived from the surveys and excavations conducted in the West Bank since 1967. The scientific publication is accompanied by a map and a database including the sources of information used to prepare this document. This research project headed by Rafi Greenberg of Tel Aviv University and Adi Keinan from the University of London, consolidate information from over 6000 surveyed antiquity sites and 1600 excavations which were conducted with Israel’s authorization in the West Bank and East Jerusalem.
